Vision @ Barfly in Hollywood 01/28/04

DJ OGGYのnew mix-tape album "Brandy For Your Soul"のリリースパーティーということで、ハリウッドのBarflyでイベントがありました。この日は有名らしいBest Kept Secretというチームのダンスパフォーマンスもあり、いつになく客層が幅広かったという印象があります。結構楽しかったです。

Asian Night @ Level 3 in Kodak Theatre, Hollywood 01/30/04

またまたDJ OGGYですが、今回はKodak Theatreの中にあるLevel 3というクラブに行ってきました。Asian Nightというだけあり、本当にほとんどアジア人で、韓国系とフィリピン系のパーティー好きの人がわんさかきてました。同じくKodak Theatreの上の階にあったThe Highlandsというクラブでは50 Centが来ていたらしく、大勢の人が並んでいましたが、それに負けじとすごく混んでいて、さすがOGGYだなという感じでした。今回OGGY君は色々新しい試みをしていて、ジャンルを混ぜて緩急をつけたり、intermission的におとなし目の曲に２枚使いで仕上げたり、また地元では有名なJoe Ironの喋りと波長がかなりあったプレイなどで盛り上げてくれました。DJブースがフロアと離れていてちょっと残念でしたが、DJを見なくても誰のプレイか一発かかっただけで分かったので、OGGY君のプレイも着々と凄みを増してきたなと感じた夜でした。
